It's been ages since I read Pooh, but the last two paragraphs seem very Milne to me.

That would be because they were (well, the last one, not so much the second-to-last) pretty much borrowed from the last chapter of The House at Pooh Corner. Want a virtual cookie? ;D

I've really enjoyed this story. The first part in particular was one of the best reunion fics I've read.
