Anything At All

Title: Anything At All
Characters: Ten. Rose.
Pairing: Ten/Rose
Rating: G
Setting: Fear Her
Disclaimer: Not mine (sadly).
Spoilers: Nary a one.
A/N: An unbeta-ed bit of flangst (fluffy angst, you’ll see what I mean once you’ve read it) I wrote today in response to this banner by [livejournal.com profile] schattenmond. I nicked a bit of dialogue from The Christmas Invasion, but nothing spoilery for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet (is there anyone who hasn’t seen it yet?)
Summary: “You can tell me anything. You know that, don’t you?”

“You’d tell me if there was something wrong, wouldn’t you?” The Doctor was fussing around Rose like a mother hen.

He could sense that something was troubling her, but she wouldn’t tell him what it was, and it worried him.

“I’m fine, Doctor. Look at me, I’m fine. I look fine, I feel fine. Stop worrying!”

“If you say so. Rose?”

He put a hand on her shoulder and turned her, pulling her into a hug.

“What, Doctor?”

“You can tell me anything. You know that, don’t you? Anything. Anything at all, ever.”

She smiled.

“I know. And thank you.”

Aww! There's so much potential for conversations like this after Fear Her. Lovely.

I seriously need to get caught up with Season 2! Even though I'm not sure of the setting, this is still brilliant, as you (as usual) get a lot into so few words :)

Aww. :)

Flangst should be added to the dictionary, if for no other reason than it's fun to say. ;)
