In addition to the deleted scene, the various involved cast/TPTB have made comments periodically to indicate they think they did end up together.
Which would suggest the poor aul’ Doctor had even less to be jealous about than he thought (not that there was anything for Ten to be jealous about; Nine might have been a different kettle of fish (I’ll have to check Season One sometime and remind myself).)
I kinda tend to go with that just 'cos it's what they've said.
Makes sense, I guess; by the sound of things (I’ve seen the deleted scene, ’course, but this is the first I’ve heard of the rest of it) I’ve been kinda living under a rock.
