Deserves to lose people, and maybe even thinks people will be better off away from him. Of course that gets a bit jumbled up when it comes to Ten II - did he stick Rose what he thought was the "bad" version of himself? Or was it he thought this way was the best for her? Or did he simply believe that everyone needed to be away from him? Or maybe it was a bit of all of the above?

Most times I don't really care about behind-the-scenes stuff, but I think it'd be interesting to know what RTD's intent was when it came to the Doctor's motivation here because it is open to a lot of interpretation.
