A thought on The Next Doctor (And I thought I could let go of this show – no such luck!)

We don’t, I think, know how long it’s been for Ten since Journey’s End when the events of The Next Doctor pan out, although it’s been mooted by several folk that it’s a fair chunk of time.

And for Ten, after all that time (however long it’s been for him), to still fairly obviously be in love with Rose (his wistfulness in commenting on Rosita’s name suggests that, along with at least one interpretation of the “they break my heart” speech)?

That pretty much has my heart breaking for him.
