For Her
Title: For Her
Rating: PG-13
Setting: Immediately after the beach scene of Doomsday
Character(s): Ten. Mentions of Rose.
Pairing(s): Ten/Rose
Spoilers: None whatever, assuming you know (and who doesn't?) what happens in Doomsday.
A/N: The idea for this came from a writing session of mine yesterday when I was trying to work around a fic in this series I'm blocked on (this fic takes place in my You're Not? universe). Unbeta-ed, so if it's lousy it's all my fault ;)
Summary: Did she really think that he wouldn't see through that straight away?
For her, he'd have risked everything to "come through properly", and he's fairly sure she knows this (she knows him better than he knows himself, sometimes). And what other reason could there have been for her to stand there and lie to him about her – their – baby?
Did she really think he wouldn't see through that straight away, that he didn't know that she was lying to him? He knew everything about her, body and mind, far too intimately by now not to have realised.
No, he knew.
And if there's any way back to her again, he'll find it.

For some reason, that line just got me.
A nice little break this is...a teeny peek into the Alice!verse :)

There will be more of it (the Alice!verse) soon, I hope.

This is a full story (sort of), just told in little snippets.
As for a reunion ... well, that's what I have planned at the moment, but we'll see.

I love this. It's like, "Oh, he knows."
Exactly. That's the sort of connexion I was hoping people would make :D

. Love!

Oh, I love how he knows. I love how he knows her so well: He knew everything about her, body and mind, far too intimately by now not to have realised. Love!
I think he does know her that intimately (canon would pretty much back that up, too). I don't think he believed her when she said it was her mother, either.

Oohhh!!! Could this be canon? Please, pretty please????
It'd be nice, wouldn't it?

Oh wow, this is too sad. And yet ... hopeful?
In this 'verse, at the moment, I intend to bring them back together. As for canon ... no idea.

Or she will!

Or she will!
Indeed. I think we'll get better clarification of that as the season unfolds (hopefully).
