Thank you! I am pleased you like this as it really isn't the sort of thing I usually write. And as I said to the_lucky_stars above, I'm a perfectionist into the bargain so this took for ever to get the way I wanted it.
I loved how reminiscent their exchange at the end was to when Rose and the Doctor first met, as well as right after he regenerated.
That was intentional; a hit against the agony of the beach scene of Doomsday where they reprise a scene from right at the beginning (The Christmas Invasion) which makes that scene even more unbelievably painful than it already is.
I wanted them to both have happy memories of those conversations and I hope I achieved that.
