The Singing Mountains of Jubleperhis have to be some of the most beautiful mountains she’s ever seen. Not that she’s seen all that many, outside the pages of encyclopædias, but that’s hardly the point. The beauty of the music, more delicate and gentle than any she’s ever heard, takes her breath away.

(Suddenly being at 8,000 feet when you’re used to sea-level is murder on the lungs.)

But the reason she likes them so much is that they remind her of him. And how, like them, he’s wild. Beautiful. Dangerous.

And she loves him so much he takes her breath away.

I love it. I love Rose POV fics, I know it's awesome when the Doctor is amazed by seeing the world through her eyes but this is equally great =)
