Summary: He doesn't dare hope.

Doctor - she is returning.

He doesn't dare hope that Lucius could be referring to Rose. He's surprised that no-one has picked up on that name yet – he must be broadcasting it less than usual, which is a surprise given that she so rarely leaves his thoughts.

There's no way it can be Rose. There's no way back from where she is, not without the deaths of trillions. He knows this, but the knowledge doesn't make the pain any less bitter.

So since it isn't Rose, can't ever be Rose, then who in Chaos' name is it?

I don't know that they'd bring back The Rani, 'cos honestly I don't think she's someone whom folks would remember to the same degree as Romana. Although it would be interesting if she came back and, as I've drummed on about before, was someone who seriously had changed her ways as a result of the Time War.

I've being hearing rumors about Rani since season three, but as much as I'd love for her to come back ( I won't lie, as much as I love the Doctor, sometimes the crazy evil people are just cool...in that sort of evil way I adore.)I don't think it's gonna happen. With the master, they hinted he was coming all over the place. I think it's safe to say they are talking about Rose returning.
